Maak is pleased to host a Maak Foundation event during London Craft Week to mark last year's publication of the monograph 'Julian Stair : Memory Material Ceramics’. Join us for an evening in-conversation between the artist, Julian Stair and author Ashley Thorpe, chaired by Andrew Nairne, Director of Kettle's Yard.
 
The Maak Foundation supports the broadening of understanding of studio ceramics and in particular the fostering of critical writing. ‘Memory Material Ceramics’ received the Maak Foundation grant for publication in 2024.
